My name is Ciera Kimbrell. When I grow up i want to be a Therapist Assistant. Daily activities are things like helping people with disabilities develop skills. Therapist Assistants also work under the supervision of an occupational therapist. The working conditions are having high level of contact, being able to work closely with co-workers and patients, and have a positive attitude so patients will have hope. You earn $56,560 a year. You need a high school diploma and an associates degree. Some skills you have to have are, to be able to communicate, be able to resolve problems, manage time, work with people, and check to see progress on people. Some recommended core/elective classes are computer Applications, Introduction to Health Care, Keyboarding, Nursing, and Psychology.
