Week 7
We will start our second unit next week, week 1 is focused on Immediate Family. We will talk about who is in our families and who they are in their family. This is where our family pictures will come in to play, they love to talk about their families and it helps to have a picture to point to different people. If you haven't sent one before, please email me a picture.
Our Vocabulary this week: siblings, father, mother, brother, sister
Photo discussion cards: reading, family, family #2
For math we are starting to talk about the size and sound of different things; using words like gigantic, large, loud, medium, small, and soft.
We will start our second calm down strategy next week, Balloon breathing. To do Balloon breathing we place our hands on top of our head and lock our fingers together. Breathe in deeply as we raise our hands over our heads like we are filling a balloon. Breathing in a few times, before letting the air out and lowering their arms. Repeat as many times as needed to help calm down. This week we will stick with our S.T.A.R. method as our go to.
