Live Virtual College Admissions Forum
Thursday, March 2nd @ 7PM

BHS and the BHS PTO invite you to join them for a live virtual college admissions forum. A panel of college admission representatives will be available to answer questions regarding the college admissions process from BHS college-bound students and their parents. The BHS Post High School Counselors will moderate the evening. The zoom webinar link will be emailed to all sophomores, juniors and their parents/guardians on March 2nd.

BHS CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

As soon as the Girls' Gymnastics and Wresting seasons end in February, construction will begin in the physical education area. Notably, the Athletic Director’s Office will be relocated to the old Credit Union office, by the senior locker bank, during Presidents’ Day weekend. Additionally, the Weight Room will be relocated to a portion of the Main Gym during that same time period. Finally, construction will require the temporary relocation of the Training Room in early May.

For those of you looking ahead to the summer, there will be a significant amount of renovation done at BHS starting in June. To that end, academic summer school courses have been moved to Station Middle School this summer.

See Something, Say Something

Barrington 220 is now partnering with an Illinois school safety helpline aimed at providing students a place to report information that might prevent bullying, suicide, and campus violence. Safe2Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It allows students to confidentially share school safety issues via a mobile app, text, email, or phone call. You will notice that the "See Something, Say Something" button on our district and school website now links directly to the Safe2Help contact page. We are asking that all students, parents, staff, and community members now use this platform to report safety concerns. In the case of an emergency, call 911.
