Continental Drift
Alfred Wegener a German Meteorologist discovered Continental drift, He declared it in 1912 but people didn't believe it until 1930 but over 200 million years ago Pangaea took place. He thought of this because He noticed in his opinion that the continents looked as though they were together at one point, and It looked as though it were a puzzle. Alfred had no evidence but after His death people found evidence for his thoughts such as, they found the same fresh water animals on different continents but that may not mean anything cause The oceans have fresh water streams going through them. Also the same plant fossils were found on different climate continents such as A humid area plant was found in Antarctica and All other continents. Also same rock layers, glacial deposits were found on hot climate continents, and Warm weathered continents with warm weather plants are now in cold weather areas.
