CC Yearbook

Students and Tutors: You are invited to participate in Picture Day (which means individual photos) next Tuesday...Sept. 27, during the morning session. This invite includes Foundations and both Challenge classes. Photos will be captured by Carrie Rife, one of our Foundations moms. All pictures will be published in our yearbook and will be available for separate purchase as well.

All families are invited to Drace Park (across the highway from Gateway Church) every week after class. Challenge ends at 3:30 which is why the official start time is 3:30. All Essentials and Foundations families are welcome to enjoy the park with us.

Foundations Moms Night Out

Plan on joining other Foundations moms for a night out! Tracy Tran (mom to Madalyn and Micah) invites all Foundations moms to her home for food, fellowship, and getting to know one another as we begin the year together.

Missouri Association for Creation at the Zoo - Ch. A

Becky Hall is inviting her Challenge A students to attend this event:

Learn about the amazing design features of God's creatures from MAC speakers, while seeing those animals up close. Special presentations on the following animals: Birds, Transcaspian Urial Ram, Tiger, River Otter, Galapagos Tortoises, Sea Lions, and Chimpanzees.

World Bird Sanctuary Field Trip

Friday, Sep. 30th, 10am-1pm

125 Bald Eagle Ridge Road

Valley Park, MO

Please join us Friday, September 30 at 10am at the World Bird Sanctuary. You will have an opportunity to peek inside a bird hospital, see many large birds such as hawks and owls who have been restored to health, and walk thru a nature center full of animals and animal parts. There is no cost and we should finish by 1:00.

Please bring a picnic to enjoy together and plan to drive thru the Lone Elk Park on the way out for a little Missouri safari. Check email if weather is questionable and we will reschedule if we need to. Please contact Michelle Jones at 314-623-3695 if you have questions. Plan to meet all you bird lovers at 10:00 at the beginning of the outdoor bird exhibit area. We hope to see you there!!!

Feed My Starving Children

Saturday, Oct. 1st, 11:45am-2pm

Gateway Christian Church is hosting a mobile pack with Feed My Starving Children. They will be packing 100,000 meals for children in need over the weekend of 9/30-10/1. Currently five spots remain for Saturday from 11:45-2:00. This event is for ages 5 and up.

Education Concerts at the Symphony

Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, 11am

Join Ruth Stith and her kids (Noelle, Brian, and Micah) at the symphony! Tickets are $5 each for these special concerts for younger audiences. There is a second one on February 22 at 11 am.
