With excitement and anticipation, we are looking forward to our Commencement for the Class of 2023! This is a very special moment in time that marks a long journey of achievements. We know that this is a joyful time for each of our students, their families and everyone that has supported them along the way. We want this Commencement to celebrate our students and all they have achieved. Please review the information below to help you plan for this special day.
Rehearsal & Senior Breakfast - Friday, June 2
Details for the Ceremony
Senior students must report to the Eastview High School Gym starting at 5:15pm.
Senior students will park in the student lot and enter the building through the North Gym exterior entrance (Door #5, see map below).
Graduates will pick up their name card and be seated in the correct place no later than 5:40pm. We expect to be walking out of the gym in processional order to the Stadium with participating faculty members by 5:50pm.
The ceremony has been planned by and for the senior class to be dignified and formal; we expect graduates to honor that decision and dress accordingly. Caps and gowns may not be altered in any way for the ceremony.
- Family members and friends are not allowed on the turf field before or after the ceremony. Please plan to meet your graduate outside of the stadium after the ceremony for congratulations, hugs and photos.
The venue will open at 5:00pm to the public. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm with the processional of graduates and faculty. The ceremony will end at approximately 7:30pm.

Important Turf Expectations (Shoes and Access to Field)
To protect the turf field during an outdoor ceremony, dress shoes or dress sandals, flats or wedges are recommended; no spiked heeled shoes are allowed because of the turf field and the possibility that high-heeled shoes will get caught in the turf carpet. This will be unsafe and will invalidate the warranty on our new turf field (see image for recommended shoe options).
Family members are not allowed on the turf field before or after the ceremony. Please plan to meet your graduate outside of the stadium after the ceremony for congratulations, hugs and photos.
Professional Photos Taken by Lifetouch
Only graduates are allowed on the field area so plan to meet your graduates outside the stadium for your personal photos.
- Everyone will be photographed as the graduates approaches the stage and while on the stage.
- Photos will be online at the link below 2-6 weeks after the ceremony.
- Complimentary proofs will be mailed to graduates.
- There is no obligation to purchase a photo.
- Sign up at the link below and receive notifications when your photos are available
- You can order your photos online.
