Tim is a British computer scientist who invented the world wide web! He is very clever and never gives up. Epically when he had to create the world wide web.

Where he was born
Berners Lee was born on 8 June 1955 and grew up in London. He studied physics at Oxford University and became a software engineer. He did not move anywhere for a long time because he loved school so much.
His achivements
Although he invented the world wide web he also has a lot more achievements. He received a knighthood in 2004 from queen Elizabeth the second. He was also honoured during the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He was one of Time Magazine’s ‘100 Most Important People of the 20th Century’.
