Hubbard Elementary School
Family Newsletter - December 2021
End of Year Reflections
Hubbard Families,
Hubbard Elementary has gone through many changes in 2021. Changes include updates to the building, staff changes, and growth to our student population. Changes bring on the chance to grow and learn as a collective group. As a new principal, I am constantly learning and growing too. I have learned about the dedicated staff, the caring and hard working students, and the supportive families. I continue to be grateful for my ability to be a part of this great school and group of people who are dedicated to all of our students.
I wish all of you happy holidays and the chance to end the year with positive memories with your family. The Hubbard staff and myself look forward to time with our own families so that we can return in January focused on our Timberwolf family.
Happy Holidays,
Justine Burgess
Principal

Hubbard Celebrations
PAWSitive Office Referrals
Celebrating with our students is a big deal here at Hubbard! Each week, a couple of students have the opportunity to earn a PAWSitive Office Referral from their teachers. Some examples of student celebrations include kindness, being helpful, and reaching their goals with reading or math. We love being able to recognize these hardworking students!

We collected over $1,100 in two weeks to support others! Thank you Timberwolf families!
Our 2nd grade students and families collected over $500 alone! The 2nd grade classrooms have earned a pizza and ice cream party, which is sponsored by Albertsons.
