My Dystopia

Backstory
I have created a unique post-apocalyptic dystopian society. The society was created after a global outbreak of an extremely contagious viral disease. The disease outbreak impacted the human race and transitioned a majority of humans into robots. There were a small number of humans who were protected by a unique DNA make-up who were not initially impacted by the virus; however the viral robots are traveling the land searching for humans not affected. The viral robots are programmed to hunt the remaining humans and are trained to turn them into robots. The remaining humans are forced to go into a survival state. There are only 467 humans left on earth and around 7 billion robots trying to capture each human with the goal of increasing the robot population.
The global outbreak wiped out all animal life; however plant life was not impacted. Humans living in the safe zone work hard to live off of the land in the safe zone. Humans grow vegetables and fruits. Water is hard to come by but can be found in the deep dark woods. Humans work together to venture into the deep dark woods to collect water used in the safe zone.

Government
The king and queen don’t really do anything they just sit in their home trying to manage the town of people. The servants are the ones who have to work. They go around the town making sure everything is ok, managing the wall, getting water from the woods, and even helping out to get food. They are like the police of the town. The peasant helpers are only a little higher in rank to the citizens because they get more rations for helping out. They do almost the same job as the servants but are normally poor people volunteering for extra rations. For what they get extra their job is not easy. Finally, the citizens are just your everyday people in an apocalypse. The hunters, the teachers, the doctors and nurses, the supermarket workers, and the farmers. You know, what most people would be.

Citizens of the Safe Zone
Citizens who survived the viral outbreak are just like you and I. They live very normal lives. The children go to school and the adults work to take care of their families (children and loved ones). Adults work as doctors, nurses, teachers, supermarket workers, farmers, hunters, and gatherers. Doctors and nurses work in the hospital are care for the ill. Teachers work hard to educate the children of the community. Teachers also work to steer children into a profession where they will grow and enjoy. Supermarket workers work side by side with the farmers. The farmers grow fruits and vegetables and then bring the produce to the supermarket so it can be sold to the citizens of the safe zone. The hunters and gatherers are very brave on each day they venture out into the deep woods to collect water for the safe zone.
Every citizen in the safe zone from the very young to the very old are very aware of their surroundings and the citizens make sure that there are no viral robots in the safe zone. The wall protects the citizens and the wall is protected by each citizen.
Children and adults wear casual clothing and tennis shoes. They are very clean and well kept. Citizens are proud people who value the way they look.
The citizens are described as hard workers, but they do know how to have a good time. Citizens walk, and ride bikes. Children play sports and adults are often seen on the sidelines cheering each child on.
Citizens know from an early age that they live in a monarchy. Citizens respect the king and queen and follow their laws. Citizens feel grateful to have survived the viral outbreak and praise their king and queen. Citizens fear the rabid robots and keep a watchful eye out for others.

Diary Entry Day 117
Day 117 at 0730
It has been many days since the infection has broken out. The fellow gatherers and I have been struggling to find water because a big burst of infected Robots have been blocking our path to the watering holes. Luckily we still have a few weeks of water for the town. I have to get some food from the market. Bye.
Day 117 1200
My group and I are nearing the water hole. We see and have already passed many viral Robots. I miss the safety and security of the safe zone. My friends and family are depending on me. We are getting very hungry and must stop soon to eat. Outside of the safe zone we wear anti-viral suits that are very hot and heavy. Food will give me some additional energy to make it through the day.
Day 117 1500
I have made it to the watering hole. We must work fast. I hear viral Robots are very near. I will be collecting 5 gallons today which should be enough to make it overnight and I will return tomorrow. I am heading home. It is a 2 hour walk so we must move fast. I must return before 8pm as is required by the king.
Day 117 1930
I MADE IT HOME. I am safe and the day was a success. With all of the water we have collected the citizens will have enough until our next trip. Tonight I will go for a bicycle ride which keeps me in shape.
Day 117 2100
It is almost time for bed. I am thankful for all that I have and look forward to another day tomorrow. Will day 118 be the day when the viral Robots are destroyed? This thought keeps me going each and every day.
