GOODBYE SUMMER HELLO FALL! It is hard to believe that tomorrow is the first official day of Fall ! Somehow we are already five weeks into the school year..


Students took their Interim reports on Friday along with a picture form for this Thursday. If your child is learning remotely at this time, they will have a separate picture day. You child also brought home a form to be filled out regarding transportation . Please take a moment to fill it out. If you do not have the form , you can print one from the link below.

Picture Day

Dingo Photography will be here on September 24th for in school students. Information will be sent home with your child. Students that are currently remote learners will have an opportunity to have their pictures taken at a later time.

APEX Students

If your child in 7th or 8th grade is currently enrolled in APEX instead of in-person schooling, please help monitor their progress. There will be progress updates sent home weekly. At this time they should have 25% completed in each subject.

Welcome Parents and Students to the 2020/2021 school year. We have created a fun filled calendar with flexible times and options for our virtual school year. If the school allows for afterschool activities to resume, we will be in person after school from 2:30-5:30 Monday-Friday during scheduled school days.

Schoology: Join our Course on Schoology, 5C34-X9N4-4W7VZ you will find the latest information for your club.


Email: Because we are virtual it is vital to check your email as students, this is the only way we can communicate with you currently.


Participation: If you have signed up for a club, you are required to attend. We go through the process of hiring staff, supplies, and put in time so that you can have a great experience. If you need to rethink your club choices, fill out the club sign up sheet again. BONUS POINTS! If you participate in a minimum of 2 tutoring sessions, and 2 clubs each week, you become eligible for our fun trips and other perks that are decided on by you!

Dates

September 18th- Behaviour contracts and Student Handbook Signed and turned in. See your email for them.

September 25th- Our first Family activity! Come for a fun time fishing, and playing games, Location: Chilo Park. When: 6:30. Snacks provided. Social Distances required between families.

October 24th- Student reward day! For your participation, you will receive tickets to Kings Islands Tricks and Treats Fall Fest! Tickets will be purchased and handed out Friday 23rd.

Seventh Grade Immunization

Ohio Law requires that all seventh graders must have received multiple immunizations. Before starting school, students in the 7th grade must have a Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis) and a Meningococcal vaccine. Written proof of receiving these vaccinations must be on file in the school office. Students who do not have evidence of proper immunizations will be excluded from school after October 15th.

Charge the Chromebooks!

Please make sure your child gets in the habit of charging their chrome books each evening. It is important that they come to school prepared and the chrome books are as important to class as bringing paper and pencils. They will need their computers to fully participate in instruction in most classes.

Clear Water Bottles

Students are permitted to have water bottles in the classrooms. Please make sure that the water bottles are clear.

Attendance

School starts at 7:30 am and ends at 2:30 pm. Every hour of the school day counts, so please try and have your child to school on time. If your child is absent please call 513-362-5307 by 10:00 am.
