Pennslyvaina
The place you can live how you want and where you want.
Penn's policies attracted a wide variety of Europeans. Pennsylvania was populated by self- contained communities each speaking a different language or practicing a different religion.
We have the right to self-government by our elected assembly. Quaker Penn expects orderly growth of farming villages, and they are all neatly laid out along rivers and creeks. With each of our homes set far enough from our neighbors it prevents the spread of fires. Now you can feel safe knowing you have better chances of your homes not catching on fire. We also have harmonious relationships with the local Indians.
