My Family
I have been married almost 26 years to the love of my life Sara. I met her while working at Herman’s Sporting Goods when she came into handout fliers for a big ski sale. We became good friends, and her family was a great support to me as I prepared to serve a mission for my church. I spent two years in Belgium and Holland and when I returned, we picked up where we left off. We were married in June of 1996. Sara stayed home for most of our early marriage teaching piano, raising our five kids, and keeping things sane. She Went back to school about 7 years ago and received a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Weber State and teaches 5th grade at Vae View Elementary.
Our youngest daughter is 13 and was born on our anniversary. She attends North Davis Junior High where she participates in Jazz Band, Intermediate Band, Theater, Student Government, and many other activities. She currently wants to be a preschool special education teacher when she grows up.
Walter is 14 and is currently a 9th grade student at North Davis Junior he enjoys all things athletic. He wrestled for Clearfield High this year where he learned a lot and grew a ton. He is unsure of what he wants to be when he grows up. He is a Green Bay Packers Fan, as are the other members of our family.
Bianca is 19 and is serving a mission for our church in Denver. She loved theater in high school and took tap dance lessons for many years. She loves Vans and Cons and has way more shoes than a 19-year-old needs. She plans on attending Utah State when she returns.
My son Baxter would be 22, he played football at Clearfield High was a valedictorian and was attending Utah State University when died by suicide two and a half years ago. His passing has left a huge whole in our family. Because of his example we try to honor his memory by doing kind things. #BeKind4Bax.
Trevor is my oldest, he is 24 and is married to an amazing lady Leanna. They live in the Layton area and have a daughter named Addie who is a light in our lives. They are expecting another child in August they are both doing the BYU pathways program and should graduate next year. Trevor served a mission in Lima Peru. Leanna and Trevor both work from home for E Health a Medicare insurance broker.
My family is my everything!
