Presque Vu

Why I chose this topic.
I chose this topic because I thought it would be interesting to know why I can think of a word, but not be able to put my finger on it. This gives me a chance to research an interesting topic and it gives me a chance to share it with others.
What is Presque Vu?
It is the inability to remember a word or put your finger on the right word. It is french for "almost seen". This is where the brain can just about retrieve a memory, but doesn't quite make it. Presque vu increases with age. The brain uses the nerves in the left hemisphere during Presque vu. Robert Brown and David McNeill did a study on this topic.
Interesting Facts
Presque vu has the same sensation as needing to sneeze, but not being able to sneeze.
Interesting Facts
Presque Vu and Deja Vu are often mistaken for the same thing, but Presque Vu is french for "almost seen" and Deja Vu is french for "already seen".
Interesting Fact
Presque Vu is the worst feeling ever.
