Principal's Message
I know these last several days have been challenging with school closures, poor air quality and all the feelings this may bring back for us. At the same time, I realize that Thanksgiving is around the corner and it's made me reflect on all I have to be thankful for. I am especially grateful for the community at Sequoia. I appreciate your patience this week as the district tries to make decisions for our students and staff regarding air quality. I am thankful for how you prepare your children each day to come to school ready to learn. So many of you volunteer in classrooms, take on events and activities in classrooms and for our school. We couldn't do it without you! I'm also thankful for ALL our staff members and how much they care about our students' academic and emotional well-being each and every day. In so many ways, it's truly wonderful to be a Sequoia Giant!
I hope you enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday with friends and family. As a reminder, report cards will go home today and we will resume school on Monday, November 26th.
