Lowell Lantern

Week of December 10-December 14, 2018

Monday is a BLUE DAY for specials

Our theme at Lowell this year is "We are Lowell...CORE is our Superpower!"--Civility, Order, Respect, Excellence. We are encouraging students to embrace this challenge and achieve them.

Reminder Wednesday, December 12th is a LATE ARRIVAL day. Buses will pick up one hour later than normal pick up time and doors unlock at 9:25am. There are no early drop offs!

Dear Lowell Families,

We have two weeks left before winter break; that is hard to believe! These last two weeks are very important weeks! Teachers are completing end of quarter and end of unit assessments at every grade level. These assessments are important as they allow us to monitor student growth and achievement. Student report cards will be distributed when we return from winter break.

Please see below for some reminders of upcoming events:

  • Wednesday, December 12 is a late start day. Bus pick ups will be one hour later than normal time. School starts at 9:30am.

  • The 3rd Grade Holiday Program is on Thursday, December 13 at 7:00pm in the Lowell Gym. We hope to see many families there.

  • Our CORE Celebration is scheduled for Friday, December 21. Students will be able to spend their corebucks that they have earned over this quarter on all of the fun and games! We are in need of parent volunteers to help during CORE Carnival. Look for a sign-up sheet to come home soon.

  • Our last day of school before winter break is Friday, December 21. Students return from winter break on Monday, January 7.

Have a great weekend!

Mrs. Griffin

Spirit wear orders were sent home with students on Friday, December 7! If you have any questions please contact Ms. Reedus at 317-532-3902.
