YES Edition 2
What's Happening in the YES Library
Mrs. Ozbun has been working with all the library classes to create book trailers and reviews. The students have done an excellent job and we have QR codes all around the library that everyone can scan to find out more about books they might like to read. She has also begun introducing students in all classes to the characters from A Christmas Carol, and talking with them about the classic books found in our library.

Series Books
Did you know one of the best ways to cultivate a reader is to introduce them to a series of books? We are working hard to "hook" our third graders with series books that are appropriate for them. We have new graphic novels that are series books as well as realistic and fantasy fiction for the younger readers. We love when we find series books for younger kids written by authors who also write for the older ones. Jennifer Holm (Baby Mouse/The Fourteenth Goldfish) and Kate Messner (Marty McGuire series/Capture the Flag) are two such authors. For our older students we have new choices as well. Take a look at some of the new titles below.
