What are Sedimentary Rocks?
Sedimentary Rocks are created when different sediments, minerals, and fossils are compacted together. There are three types- Clastic, Chemical, and Biochemical. Clastic rocks are made of different sediments, rocks, and minerals. Chemical rocks are made from chemical sediment, such as chemicals that have dissolved in water. Biochemical rocks are made from biological remains such as fossilized plants, animals, and shells.
