Student Devices for 2022-2023
Students who are currently in grades 9-11 may keep their school-issued Chromebook until they graduation. Students may also choose to return their device now and check out a new one during Timberwolf Registration Days in August.
Students who choose to keep their Chromebooks over summer are encouraged to renew their Mobile Device Coverage Protection Plan through the Vista Unified IT Department. Renewal begins July 1st and ends June 30th each school year. The coverage plan is $20 for two incidents and is available at the following link. https://vusd.myschoolcentral.com/
Just an FYI: Cracked or damaged screen replacement per incident = $150
Chromebook total damage replacement per incident = $322
Power adapters are not included in the plan
Exchanging Old Chromebooks
Students who have a Leased Chromebook have received an email asking them to return it to the Library ASAP and exchange it for an updated one. A Leased Chromebook can be identified by an orange sticker on the back of the CB. Please bring the Chromebook with the power adapter before school, during passing period, at lunch or after school to the library textbook/device window and we will help you.

Summer School Enrichment Opportunities through MVHS Athletics

PLTW Biomedical Sciences "Bootcamp" this Summer
MVHS is offering a summer enrichment course for students interested in biomedical science. It will offer science lab experience and exposure to subjects covered in the PLTW Biomedical Science pathway at MVHS. There are three days in the following themes: molecular biology, infectious disease, and digestive system/biochemistry. The course is designed for students enrolled in, or interested in, taking PLTW Principles of Biomedical Science Honors, the entry-level course in the PLTW Biomedical Pathway. Students that have taken PBS or HBS are also welcome, we will be doing labs that you haven't done before and can give you more lab skills and experience.
Class dates: Tuesday, June 14 - Thursday, June 16, 2022 (3 days)
Class times: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
