Construction Starting- Monday, Oct. 25th

We are excited that the construction will be starting this week on our Mulitpurpose Facility. We will have some changes regarding safety. Please talk to your child about staying out of the construction area. We will update often as the project unfolds.

Bike Racks

At this time, it will be necessary to move our bike rack to a temporary location near the track. If your child rides a bike to school, they will need to bring a lock to secure their bicycle. We will work with students this week, October 24-28, to secure bicycles inside the building if they do not have a lock. All students will need to secure their bikes with their own locks beginning Monday, October 31st. Teachers will continue to monitor the bike rack area before and after school to ensure student safety. We ask that you be cautious when dropping off and picking up students in the back parking lot.

Storybook Character Parade- Friday, October 28th

We will have a Storybook Character Dress-up Day on Friday, October 28th. All grades will be allowed to dress up as a storybook character for the day. PK-2 will participate in the Storybook Character Parade. The parade will be at 9:45 am.

The parade will be outside, and students will walk the perimeter of the building. Parents will line the perimeter of the building in designated areas to watch the parade. Please follow these guidelines:

  • All costumes must represent a character in a book
  • Students will need to have the book to go with their costume
  • No scary costumes that would scare students (including any symbol of blood or hurting someone)
  • Costumes cannot be a distraction for instruction
  • If guidelines are not followed, students will be asked to change
