Daily Update From SDCCS Admin
First day of online learning
How Is School Going?
The goal of this remote learning is to keep your kids engaged while they are away from school. We are continuing to track the work we are doing and will monitor and update you on information from the Governor, CDC and CDE.
We have modified our attendance tracking for the next two weeks to make it easier for parents. If you child is unable to do school work because they are sick we ask for you to please fill out the Google Form that is located on the website and also linked here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSey9kb84hWYmatzfFOpDY9X6IHSOwMbWOzXH5H1vZT2T9bvng/viewform?usp=sf_link. If your child is healthy and learning from home there is no need to fill anything out.
We anticipate many more things being shut down, if you have not stocked up on necessities please consider doing so as soon as possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out if your family is in need, the schools goal is to support our community any way we can. This is a rapidly evolving situation and we are only at the beginning. SDCCS will continue to provide as much information as possible to help teachers, students, and families.

Reminders of Breakfast and Lunch Pick Up Locations
Serving locations
Eight sites have been strategically selected based on geographic location targeting high need areas – per the USDA. We also took into consideration ease of access in selecting sites.
· Clark Middle (to act as a production kitchen and serving center)
· Cherokee Point Elementary
· Sherman Elementary
· Zamorano Fine Arts Academy
· Kearny High School
· O’Farrell Charter
· Farb Middle
· Walker Elementary
As there are many unknowns in this school closure scenario, we are prepared to adjust our operations and adapt to changes as they arise including adding or changing serving locations if needed.
