PICTURE MAKE UP DAY – will be held on October 20th, 7:30a.m. – 9:30a.m., in the
Galleria. Order forms are available in both the MS and HS Offices. If you missed
picture days in September, or would like e a retake – this is the time and date!

REMINDER: SENIORS: Make sure you submit your Senior Portraits for the yearbook.
Baby Pictures with Parent messages $25 payable to The Torch. Everything is due November 2nd. Questions see Mrs. Madafferi or Mrs. Rogers.

Scholarship for GRADES 9-12! 2016 Prudential Spirit of Community Award--for students who make a difference through volunteering. Pick up an informational flyer in the HS Counseling Office if you would like to apply. Deadline is November 3.

Tuesday, Nov. 17th. Leaving at 8:20 and returning around 1:00. Permission slips are in
the Counseling Office.

Wednesday, October 21, it is National Unity Day. Make it ORANGE and
make it end! Unite against bullying!

What are your true colors when it comes to bullying? If you care about safe and
supportive schools and communities make your color ORANGE on Unity Day. That’s
the day everyone can come together—in schools, communities, and online—and
send one large ORANGE message of support, hope, and unity.

ALSO…. In honor of unity day, wear orange in support of students who have been
bullied. This year, Student Alliance will also be hosting a hat day. Purchase a sticker
for $1.00 during your lunch period to show your support.

Teen Read Week is October 18-24. To celebrate, the library is planning several fun
events. Listen to the morning announcements for Chronicles of Narnia trivia and your
chance to win FREE tickets to the upcoming Drama Club performances on November 13-
14. Create your own Narnia nobility title and enter our contest to win a movie prize basket. See Mrs. Keyes for details.
