Dear RBES Families,


Thank you to everyone for supporting our PTA Reading Fundraiser! Keep those bringing in those reading logs!


PreK and kindergarten registration for River Bend is Wednesday, March 14 from 9 am-6 pm and Thursday, March 15 from 9 am -4 pm. Please share this news with anyone who has children who may be attending Prek or kindergarten next year!


On Tuesday, March 20, we will be entertained by our kindergarten and first grade students as they perform their spring musical at 1:30 pm and 7:00 pm. We look forward to seeing them on stage!


As always, we welcome you to school to volunteer, be a Watch DOG, or just eat lunch with your child. We hope to see in school!

It is Time for Prek and Kindergarten Registration!

Spring registration for PreK and Kindergarten is Wednesday, March 14th from 9:00 am-6:00 pm, and Thursday, March 15th, 9:00 am-4:00 pm. A copy of the following will be needed to register your child:


  • child’s birth certificate
  • TWO proofs of residency (something with your name and address )
  • immunization record
  • physical
  • legal documents showing custody (if this applies).


Note: Physicals are required before a child can start school, so get ahead of the game and make your appointment today! A copy of the physical is also needed before start of school.

Thank You for Supporting the RBES Family Fitness Night February 8, 2018! Thank you to Ms. Constable for making this night happen!

The Next PTA Movie Night is Friday, March 16!

The PTA will be sponsoring another movie night on March 16th. The PTA will provide a movie and other activities for students from 3:15-6:00 pm. We could use additional volunteers for this event. If you can help, please contact Becky Taylor.

Watch DOGS at RBES

This program is geared towards fathers and father figures, including step-dads, grandfathers, uncles, and approved community volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a Watch Dog, please contact Candice Ray by calling the school at 540-298-5301. The students really enjoy seeing their caretakers at school. We hope you can volunteer !
