(New) Teacher and Clerical Substitutes Needed
Clerical subbing covers a wide variety of duties with very flexible hours. Please consider your availability and if you're able to help out. (New) USDA Funding Allows For Free Student Meals Through the End of the School Year
The USDA has extended funding for free student breakfasts and lunches to the end of the school year. Students will not need to stop at the cashier to scan their meal-ID badge. However, students will continue to use the meal-ID for ala carte and adult meals will continue to be charged at full price.
Students will go through the cafeteria quicker without stopping at the cashier to scan their meal-ID. The same accounting will be implemented at the end of the day for take home meals. This new process should speed up the lunch lines and, hopefully, will increase participation.
(New) Panera Fundraising Night for EVHS Comp Cheer
The Apple Valley Panera is hosting a fundraiser night for the Eastview Competition Cheer Team on Friday, November 6 between 4:00pm and 8:00pm. Show this flyer on your smartphone or paper or let the cashier know you are supporting Eastview Cheer. For online orders, use code PRFUND before checkout in 'promo' field. Thank you for your support!
Student Support & Intervention Wednesdays
Our teachers and staff are available on Wednesdays to help students with their learning. Eastview offers additional student support and intervention that is available and accessible to all students. The goal is to dedicate time to increase our student achievement and success. We will use this time to supplement the interventions already happening every day for our students through individual or small group time (Zoom or in-person) to meet the learning needs of our students. Click the link below for more information.

Last Year Locker Pickup
Did you get all your locker belongings at the end of the school year last year? For students that have not received their items from their locker, see Mr. Habeck in Student Services. We have your belongings available for pick up.
Eastview School Store
Did you know Eastview has an online store where you can purchase Eastview apparel and accessories? All orders placed online will be available for pick up at the west entrance security desk, usually within 48 hours. Check it out at https://eastview-school-store.square.site/ . You can also find the link on the Eastview High School home page under Community. Happy shopping!
Your child may be eligible for free or reduced-price school meals
District 196 provides healthy meals each day for all students. And your family may qualify for free or reduced-priced school meals. If you participated in this program last school year and wish to participate again this year, you must submit a new application each year. This program also waives co-curricular activity fees for the student.
Federal funds and school-related fees are determined with this information. The failure to complete the application could result in the loss of millions of dollars to our school system, which would negatively affect teaching and learning in a significant way.
All students in our district are currently eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch through the extension of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s free meals program through the end of the school year, however, to be eligible for other benefits, it is important families who qualify for free or reduced-price meals still apply this year.
To apply, click here, or visit https://paypams.com/Applynowisd196 or call 651-683-6958 if you need assistance filling out the application.

Student and Parent/Guardian Fall Sports Surveys
Thanks to all of our students and families who participated in Fall Athletic programs at EVHS this year. It was most certainly an “unknown” if we would have or season or get through a full season, but thankful for our students to have the opportunity. For those who have concluded their seasons already or will be in the next couple of weeks with their culminating Section Tournaments we ask that you take a few minutes to fill out our STUDENT and PARENT/GUARDIAN Surveys.
