Habitat
when its breeding season the Bald Eagle likes to go near any wetland such as seacoast, rivers, large lakes or Marshes or other large bodies of open water with an abundance of fish.

Adult Bald Eagles have white heads and tails with dark brown bodies and wings. there legs and bill are bright yellow.
Traits for Males, Females, and chicks
Male
usually weighing around 9 pounds. has a wing span of 9 feet. can have a speed of 99mph when diving.
Female
weighing around 12 to 13 pounds. they have a larger beak and a bigger back toe compared to the males.
Chick
often are a grayish color. It takes 35 days to hatch. they try to start flying when there around 10 to 12 week old.
Behaviors and calls
they like to steal other birds fish when they cant find any. they have a high pitched squeaking sound. they are usually aggressive towards other birds and animals.
special adaptations
has razor sharp talons so they can hold on to there food when there in flight. also there curved beak is used to tear fish apart while eating.
