Brer Possum's Dilemma

Summary
Brer Possum was hanging from his tree, like he normally does. He then saw Brer Snake who was asking to get help becuase he was stuck in a hole. Brer Possum was sceptical but he still helped by getting the brick off his back. Then the snake asked if Brer Possum could pull him out of the hole the he was in. Once again, Brer Possum was sceptical, but he did it none the less. Then the snake asked him if he could put him in hid pocket because he was cold. This time Brer Possum was still skeptical and questioning whether he would bite him or not. He complied again because he was too nice to just leave him there. Brer Snake then took that chance to bite Brer Possum.

Moral
If you know not to trust someone, don't. If you think something will cause trouble, don't go poking it with a stick.
