Additional Time Grant: I'm so excited that we have the approval for additional intervention time. This will allow us to begin an additional 30 minutes per day targeting reading. Gloria will be starting up the Before and After School program on February 3rd (after NWEA scores are in). This will be offered in the morning for 30 minutes on T & Th as well as after school for 60 minutes. Interventionist will be able to provide an additional 30 minutes per day. Jamie and Cindy will be able to focus on our 3rd graders needing an extra push in preparing for the MStep.
Assessment Calendar for January:
- Y5/K-3rd Grade DRA, MLPP & Writing Prompt - January 6-17th
- K-3rd Grade District NWEA MAP Testing - January 7-February 7th (prefer to be completed by January 31st)
- K-3rd Grade Common Math Assessment - January 27-31st
- Cafeteria - We have implemented a book bin in the cafeteria for students to look at when they have finished their lunch. If you have any quick read, age appropriate books you would like to donate to the cause, that would be great. Thank you Karen Shanks for your efforts and commitment to a positive lunch experience.
- If you haven't already done so, LEA staff please go into Pivot and document your "evidence of achievement" for each of your focus areas.
- MStep has moved up one week, April 27th-May 22nd. I am in the process of adjusting our Lab schedule now.
