Science Fun Day: Volunteers Wanted
We are asking all parents, Kindergarten - 6th Grade, who are interested in volunteering to join us at 6:00 pm in the Titus Dining Room on Wednesday, January 14th, for our first meeting. We will provide you with an overview of the day, brainstorm ideas among grade levels, and answer any questions that you may have.
If you are interested in volunteering on Friday, May 1st, even if you can not make the meeting on January 14th, please sign up here with the corresponding grade levels. Thank you in advance for your dedication to making this day a success!
We are learning...
Math
When we return from break, we will be continuing Unit #5 - Fractions. This unit includes finding equivalent fractions, comparing/ordering fractions, converting between improper fractions and mixed numbers, and adding and subtracting fractions, Multiplication and division fact fluency is important in this unit. I encourage your child to practice their math facts over break!
Students should be reviewing their math facts through the use of XtraMath (www.xtramath.org) in order to reach mastery of all functions!
There will also be TenMarks (www.tenmarks.com) lessons available.
Reading
