French Students Are Coming!
Gananda French and Spanish students will be hosting 15 French students from our sister city Rennes, France beginning Friday, October 11. Exchange students will be staying with their host families until Monday, October 21. During their stay, French students will go on various field trips including a trip to Watkins Glen, Niagara Falls, downtown Rochester and Ganondagan. Typically our students treat the exchange students sporting events around the area, which the French love because it is unlike anything they have in France. They also enjoy the haunted hayrides and corn maze, which is also very American. We share this exchange with the Honeoye CSD and will attend a dance in Honeoye the Saturday before they leave to go home. This will be the third time that we hosted a group from France and it will be the fourth time we go to France in the spring. This is always such a wonderful learning experience for everyone involved and our students are really excited for the French to get here!
