The 2nd and 6th Amendments

Understainding them better

The 2nd Amendment says,"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right to the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be fringed."

What does that mean.

The 2nd Amendment today means that people have the right, with legal permission which can't be denied without legitimate reason, the own and carry a weapon for their protection.

Recent Arguments and cases for this Amendment

People for many years have argued the 2nd amendment because for years it has been too easy to obtain a gun. Recent events such as the Trayvon Martin death and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting have made the case for many people that the 2nd amendment should be removed or adjusted.
