Safety in the Neighborhoods
Our local government provides us with great safety!
We employ thirteen sworn officers and two civilians. Many of our officers wear many hats within the department. We have officers who not only have the responsibility of day to day police service, but also are dedicated to extra duties, such as K-9, Public Relations Officer, and assisting with an Explorer unit through the Boy Scouts of America.

Key cities in Oldham County include LaGrange, Crestwood, Pewee Valley, Goshen, Orchard Grass, Park Lake, Prospect, River Bluff, and Westport. Although all of our cities are unique and offer special amenities, La Grange is the County seat and is known for its history and the active train that runs through its downtown.
