Harmony Holiday
Harmony Holiday lives in NYC where she spends much of her time thinking about the dreams as they are happening. Her first book "Negro League Baseball" was published by Fence in 2011 and her second, "The Autobiography of Malik Flavors" is coming soon to a geodesic dome near you.
Tyehimba Jess
Tyehimba Jess’ book of poetry, "leadbelly", was a winner of the 2004 National Poetry Series. He writes about music, history, and politics, and is a lover of Blues. He teaches at College of Staten Island, and currently writes about 19th century African American musicians and performers for his manuscript, "Olio".
Kyla Marshell
Kyla Marshell is a poet and writer originally from Boston, MA. She has published her poetry and prose in PMS poemmemoirstory, SPOOK Magazine, Blackbird, and Okayplayer's jazz site, The Revivalist, among others. She is an alumna of Spelman College, and one of Ebony.com's "7 Young Black Writers You Should Know".
