Bootlegger Alcohol
Ever since Prohibition and the 18th amendment, there has been crime that had always been trouble some for the local and federal governments. Mafia and gangs arose as a result of this, all because of the major profits that one could make by selling bootlegger alcohol.
Saxophone
The Harlem Renaissance grew as a result of the Great Migration and increased right for African Americans during this era. The spread of their culture started from the bottom up, and even influenced the white people's taste for music. Several innovations such as jazz, ragtime, and blues appeared as a result of the Renaissance.
Red
The Red Scare after the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 caused an uproar in American sentiments. The 'natives' of the US ridiculed and scrutinized those that weren't like them, and created an air of superiority that rejected new values.
KKK
With a membership of 5 million during its peak, it's hard to describe the KKK as merely a cult. It was a cultural phenomenon that embodied the fears and emotions that the American people held for the new era that had no real evidence at all.

Families could now afford to have leisure time, spending more time together watching movies, sports, or just relaxing. This changed the lifestyles of those affected, as work dominated any time left over before.
Model T
Henry Ford's first mass-production car, this embodied the spirit of the Roaring Twenties. A new type of mass production, the assembly line, allowed families of middle class to buy the car as it became more affordable. Social changes such as being able to commute further away from work allowed for a different change of pace for many people. It was a standard model of normality: everybody had one, everybody used one, and everybody wanted one.
