Welcome Back to School!
A Message from the Principal
Dear Hornet Community,
Welcome back to what I anticipate will be a fantastic spring semester at Henryville Elementary. I hope you all had a great holiday break and were able to enjoy time with family and some rest and relaxation. We’re gearing up for a very busy time of the year as we continue preparations for state testing (IREAD for 3 rd graders in March and ILEARN for grades 3-6 in April), along with our daily initiatives in support of student growth and a myriad of extra-curricular activities to enhance the student experience. In my short time as Interim Principal at HES I have quickly come to realize that this is a special school community, full of dedicated students, parents, and staff who want the very best outcomes for our kids, and I am excited to be able to help however I can. I believe productive communication is one key ingredient to reaching the outcomes we hope for, so please reach out with questions you may have or if you’d like to help in some way.
