A Renaissance Man

Bio
He had 13-17 siblings (no sure number, eh they were Catholic). His name was originally Türer but he changed it to the Nuremburg dialect. Dürer's godfather became one of the most successful printers in Germany, Dürer left many biographical writings after helping create illustrated woodcuts for his godfather's most successful print: The Nuremburg Chronicles, that assisted in the knowledge about him. He learned basics of drawing from his father and later apprenticed to Michael Wolgemut, the leading artist in Nuremburg to learn woodcarving among other forms of art.
