Monday, April 26***DEADLINE TODAY: Turn in Scholarship Award Letters for printing in the Graduation Ceremony program (turn in to Ms. Brandvold in the counseling office)


Friday, May 14: Turn in ONE scholarship to be announced at Graduation (turn in to Ms. Brandvold in the counseling office)

Important Announcements

Senior Honor Graduate Designation

All honor graduate seniors were notified by email on January 21, 2021, through the NEISD student email, of their official honor graduate designation. The honor graduate designations include the following:


  • Summa Cum Laude: 100+ Overall Weighted Grade Average
  • Magna Cum Laude: 95-99 Overall Weighted Grade Average
  • Cum Laude: 90-94 Weighted Grade Average


This designation is based on all courses taken throughout high school and is not viewable on the student’s transcript or Skyward Family Access. If you have questions, please contact your student’s counselor.

Dual Credit for the 2021-2022 School Year

Current 9th graders will need to take the TSIA2 exam if applying for Dual Credit. Current 10th and 11th graders can qualify based on their PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, or ACT scores, but are highly encouraged to also take the TSIA2 exam. There is no cost for the TSIA2 exam. Students who have not taken the TSIA2 exam should contact Mrs. Gina Ozuna at 210-356-1476 or at gozuna@neisd.net

SAT Weekend

ADVANCED PLACEMENT

Advanced Placement

Attention students taking AP classes! Please go to apstudents.collegeboard.org and log-in to your account with your username and password. If you forgot your username and/or password, use the links to retrieve them. Please DO NOT create a new account if you already have one. You can only have 1 College Board account. If you do not have a College Board account, create one and save your username and password in a very safe place. You will use My AP and My AP Classroom to access specific AP resources, information, and tools. Students are encouraged, but not required to take AP exams. Registration for AP exams will begin in September.

STAAR/EOC EXAMS

On Campus STAAR/EOC 2021

All STAAR/EOC exams MUST be administered on campus per the TEA. Each testing room will hold no more than 15 students to accommodate the 6 feet social distancing requirement. All students and faculty MUST wear a face mask throughout the duration of testing.


All Virtual learners MUST return home upon the completion of testing and will not be permitted to attend classes on campus.
