Ms. Ruby Jonkers: Principal for the Day!
A Message from our Principal
Our Principal-for-the-Day led the morning prayers as we prepare for this week’s school Mass on Thursday, May 2. In addition, we prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet as yesterday was Divine Mercy Sunday.
Bishop Olson is scheduled to preside at this Mass. All are encouraged to attend.
We will also crown our Blessed Mother before Mass. Two students from each grade level will process in and place baskets of flowers by the statue of Mary. Lastly, one Kindergarten girl and one eighth grade girl will follow and crown Our Mother Mary. Mass will begin immediately after May Crowning.
Calendar note: Friday, May 3, will be an early dismissal day. On the morning of May 3, we celebrate the Hispanic Culture in our community. The Fiesta Day parties will begin at about 11:30am, followed by Noon dismissal. After School Care will be provided.
We welcome our new principal, Mrs. Ann Walters. She will be here on Wednesday, May 1, and spend a little time during that school day meeting with faculty, staff, and students. Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to meet Mrs. Walters the evening of Wednesday, May 1, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. We invite you to please come meet the next principal of Holy Family Catholic School. Mrs. Walters will also join us for Mass on Thursday, May 2.
Peace in Christ,
Dr. John Shreve

During each school year, all families are required to perform 30 hours of service for Holy Family Catholic School. All service hours must be recorded within your ParentsWeb account. At this time, all families should review their entries in ParentsWeb for accuracy and update as necessary. On May 6, 2019 the hours will be audited. At this time, an assessment of $10.00 per hour for any hour, or portion thereof, not fulfilled will be posted to your FACTS account. This assessment may be reduced by further serving of volunteer time through the remainder of the school year and recording the hours within your ParentsWeb account. Or, the assessment may be paid in full.
Parents of an 8th grader must fully serve and record their hours or pay for any outstanding balance no later than May 21, 2019. Failure to do so will keep your student from participating in graduation activities and all academic records being held.
Parents of all other students must fully serve and record their hours or pay for any outstanding balance no later than May 29, 2019. Failure to do so will result in all academic records being held and enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year being revoked.
