Junior Writing SOL Information!
Writing SOL for Juniors
Juniors! The Writing SOL will be given in two days the week of 3/8-3/11. You will get an email from our testing coordinator late next week with your specific testing details. In the meantime, ensure that you have a working LCPS computer and charger and that your device is up to date. Please reach out to your English teacher with questions.
AP Exams - Please Read!
AP Exams
The final date to make any changes to your AP exam schedule is Friday, March 11th. This is the last date where exams can be added or dropped (with a $40 late fee, per exam). Students who owe exam fees have been contacted via email on several occasions. Please reach out to Mrs. Blessing if you have any questions.

Academy Day 2022
Attendees will have the opportunity to join breakout sessions with representatives from the United States service academies for presentations and an interactive question and answer period.

Hey Seniors!
Thank you to all parents who contributed to our fun Senior Tutus, Tee-Shirts and Twosomes Breakfast. All the students had a wonderful time and learnt more about the fast approaching 2022 Graduation.
Students need to complete their Senior Fee payments as soon as possible. Caps and Gowns will be distributed to those who have completed this obligation in mid April.
The $80 Fee can be paid at the Payment Portal with an option to donate $20 to those unable to pay the full amount.

Women Giving Back!

Rock Ridge Fine Arts!
All-Virginia Chorus Results - Rock Ridge Sings had 10 delegates and 4 alternates selected to the All-Virginia Chorus that will take place April 21-23 in Richmond, VA. Six of our singers had the highest scores (*) for their respective voice parts with Ananya Akula receiving a perfect score! We are extremely proud of these students for this tremendous achievement and wish them the best as they travel to Richmond in April to represent Rock Ridge in the All-Virginia Chorus.

- RRHS PTSO Senior Scholarships – now open!
- There are four categories and seniors may apply for any or all of the scholarships:
- Academic Excellence
- Character
- Community
- The Phoenix
- Applications may be printed from Naviance or can be picked up in the Career Center hallway.
- Seniors or their family must be a member of the PTSO as of April 1, 2022 to apply. To join the PTSO, go here. (Kindly disregard the raffle info from the earlier membership drive from the start of the schoolyear.)
- Graduation Signs – The PTSO will be selling signs to honor our Senior Class of 2022. Options will be available to purchase a personalized sign honoring your Senior or the entire Class of 2022.
- See below for a teaser of the signs as we are waiting for the final version to begin taking orders. (Note: Subtle changes expected and student’s name will be in black to stand out.)
- Senior Celebration - Funds raised from the sale of signs will support a fun, outdoor senior graduation event for the entire Senior Class following graduation rehearsal. More details to come.

COURTYARD TRANSFORMATION PROJECT
- We have applied for a grant through Home Depot and waiting to hear back before we launch into the next phase of this project and will keep you posted.
- YOUR help is NEEDED!
- Project Manager - to oversee and guide the project with the support of the PTSO
- Team of Volunteers - to help with some of the work to be done, such a laying pavers.
- Student volunteers - may be able to receive service hours.
