November 2022

Message from Mrs. Morgan:

October was a fun-filled month and the book character parade was a success. Thank goodness the rain stopped! Thank you to everyone who participated in dressing up for Red Ribbon Week, donated cans for the Empty Stocking Fund, and this week participating in our United Way Dress-up!

We are excited to announce that Sharon Elementary School's Media Center was featured in the Loganville Insider Magazine Fall/Winter Edition. Please see pictures below. You can access the online version of the magazine by this link: https://indd.adobe.com/view/cd2c8a70-9300-4041-bffb-3703dd4305e8

We are rocking and rolling in the second quarter! Our Attendance Pep Rally went really well, and it has encouraged the students to come to school every day! We also discussed that the easiest way to be able to go to the ROAR parties is by earning points which you can't do if you're not at school. We have a football attendance challenge going between the grade levels from 10/24-11/11, and whichever grade level has had the highest percentage of attendance will win a prize!

Our next ROAR party will be in December, and the grade-level teachers are planning it, so please be on the lookout for information from your child's teacher about possible needs. Thank you so much for all of your support to encourage positive behavior here at Sharon!
