Traffic Changes Coming--Oct. 25th
The change is coming soon. In working with the City of Northfield, we will change the traffic pattern entering and exiting our school beginning on Oct. 25, 2021, which is right after the MEA break.
We will change the entrance to the school from Jefferson Parkway to Division Street (Highway 246) with traffic being one-way entering campus and exiting at Jefferson Parkway. This approach will allow us to double the number of vehicles that can be lined up on our school property instead of backing up onto Jefferson Parkway.
We are working on signage and preparing for the painting of arrows and lines. Eventually, we will need an entrance sign indicating the entrance to Bridgewater; we will start with a welcome banner in this location.

Bridgewater Elementary School
World-class Learning for Elementary Students Grades K–5
Bridgewater Elementary School, situated on a 14-acre campus just south of downtown Northfield, is a K–5 public school serving approximately 550 students. It serves the neighborhoods on Northfield’s southern side,
Dundas, and the rural area south of Highway 19 and west of Highway 246. Students benefit from an active parent-teacher organization, Bridegwater Booster Club (BBC) and many parent volunteers.
The staff is intensely dedicated to offering a high quality, well-rounded education that strives to meet the specific needs of each student. We focus on empowering our students in their learning and building a solid foundation for their educational journeys.
