Band Information!
Attention 4th-Graders! The band program is back in action!
We are so excited to offer all of our wonderful wind instruments to in-coming 5th-grade students for the 2021-2022 school year. Mrs. Lydigsen will be popping into classrooms in May to show students the instruments and answer questions. Students can choose from oboe, flute, clarinet, alto sax, French horn, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba or percussion. To learn about the instruments, see videos of instruments in action, and learn about D303's band program, please click this link: https://sites.google.com/d303.org/bandrecruitment2021/home
If you have any questions, there will be a Parent Info Zoom on May 13 at 6PM. Mrs. Lydigsen is always happy to field questions at jennifer.lydigsen@d303.org as well.

FROM THE PRINCIPAL...TONY WHITE
Theresa and Dena epitomize my vision for our office: "Attention to people. Attention to detail." Those of you who have known me for even five minutes have likely recognized that it would take an awful lot to keep me organized. Theresa bears the burden of being my administrative assistant, but truly both of them keep me on track daily. I cannot thank them enough for the immediate impact they have had not only on me but on our entire school. Theresa and Dena are often the first faces you see and voices you here, and I could not think of two finer people to put in that position. They'll answer any questions you have, provide assistance on anything and everything you need, and do it all with a smile. Norton Creek is blessed to have you, ladies! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do (and putting up with my shenanigans)!
I also want to highlight a portion of this week's E-News inviting you to send in letters (via E-Mail or dropped off at our main office) to provide me with any information you feel I should know to provide your child with the optimal learning environment for his or her next school year. Please, do not request teachers, as I am not able to honor them. I have the utmost confidence in each of our teachers to provide incredible learning experiences for our Eagles.
Have a wonderful spring weekend, Norton Creek, with your favorite people!
