Calling all Volunteers
How To Become a part of the engaged community and Volunteer at Larson
Larson could use some volunteers to help in all areas. If you have an hour a week or more please, apply online at www.aisd.net/volunteer and then submit a copy of your unexpired government-issued photo ID to crc@aisd.net. The process also includes reading the Volunteer Handbook. All volunteers must complete this application process every year.
Once officially approved, your volunteer status for the school year is immediately accessible through the schools in which you have selected. Yes, you can volunteer at multiple schools. You will also receive a system-generated email notification from support@raptorware.com (make sure you check SPAM) once approved.
Please contact the Parent & Community Engagement Department concerning all approval issues. Volunteer office contact is (682) 867-7748.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY CHILD IS SICK?
Please communicate with the front office if your child is home sick. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to call the school each day of absence by 10 a.m. to explain the absence of the student. The purpose in notifying the school is to promote that both the school and the family are aware that we can account for each student. A child should stay home if they exhibit the following symptoms: a fever, which is a temperature of 100.4, vomiting, or diarrhea. They must be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school.
