Principal's Message

Dear OMS families,

We had a wonderful week at the nest. If you haven't already heard, Wednesday, Jan. 13th was National Rubber Ducky Day. This past week we hid 12 rubber ducky's around the nest for the students to find. It was fun to watch our students work together to find them. Below we have included pictures of their hiding spots.

There is no school this coming Monday, January 18th in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will return on Tuesday, Jan. 19th in Step 3: Hybrid.

School Lunches are Back! (Kind of)

Starting Jan. 19th, we will be offering FREE school lunches to any student that orders. Classroom teachers will take a daily lunch count and submit it to the office where we will communicate with the food service department. Lunches will be prepared at South Middle School and delivered daily. There will be ONE cold lunch option each day Tues-Fri. Lunches will be bagged with all of the items and students will pick up the bag. Lunches will be distributed on carts, there will NOT be a lunch line or lunch cards.

- One option per day

- Free to all students

- 1% white milk only - included with lunch, not available separately or for purchase.

Picture Day Tuesday and Wednesday!

Please confirm with your child's teacher when they will be taking pictures. We will take pictures of all students, regardless if you choose to place an order so that they can be included in the class composite photo and the school yearbook.

Remote Families: Please sign up for a time slot below. We will check student temperatures when they enter the building and ask parents to wait outside.
