Starving Artist Project
Helping underprivileged musicians find their big chance.
Statistics
Homeless rates are at 16% of (39,000 people) in Kalamazoo County.

The Gospel Mission
By visiting local homeless shelters, finding the right candidates is very simple. Staying in touch with The Gospel Mission allows the musicians a place to sleep and allows the SAP to find artists again and again.
The Union
The Union is a cabaret and grille that shows local musicians to play in their restaurant. The artists earn tips and other wages from this excellent place and let their voices speak out. By booking artists, it helps set them up for
Showcasing
Providing a chance to earn an income and make a better life for them. By showcasing and allowing them to show off their talents they can impress venues and clubs and make a name for themselves.
The Outcome
By helping musicians find the chance they deserve, they can earn money and proper care. Through hard work and a little bit of luck they could then become the next big star and make their dreams come true. All money raised through concerts and venues is donated directly to the artist, since it is all about them. Helping these starving artists find the right path and let them show off their talents is the main concern.
