Holy Thursday/Easter Egg Hunt Schedule

In honor of Holy Thursday, and Holy Week, we will participating in Holy Week Stations on Holy Thursday. We will start the morning with an extended morning assembly and a short presentation by the Drama Club. During the day, classes and grades will be divided in rotations for the egg hunt, confetti egg area, Holy Thursday Foot Washing presentation, and a Good Friday/Easter craft area. A more detailed schedule will go home Monday.

Please sent at least 12 FILLED eggs with your scholar by Wednesday to be used for his/her grade level egg hunt. ALL grades will participate. All scholars need a basket or bag for the egg hunt.

Please dress in regular uniform attire for Holy Thursday.

Casino Night

Our Casino Night event will be April 27, 2019 at 6:00 pm. Tickets are currently on sale in the front office. All scholars are required to sell one ticket each. This night will be a fun filled night for all! There will be great food, casino gaming, prizes, dancing, silent and live auction!

The ECC will be offering babysitting for the night! The information on babysitting is below. Make a date night and enjoy a great event all while supporting our wonderful school!

We will have a Casino Night planning meeting on Monday 4/15/19 in the Teachers Lounge. Everyone is welcome to join in the planning process.

Student Council Bake Sale

Student Council will have a bake sale on Wednesday 4/17/19. Baked goods will be sold during both lunch periods. Items will be .50 cents-$1.00 each. Please support our Student Council as they raise funds for activites on campus.

Falcon Track

The Falcon Track & Field team took to Barnett Sports Complex on Saturday April 6th to compete in the first Track Meet of the season. Robert Woods III took 1st place overall in the 7th Grade Boys' Shotput, throwing it an amazing 32 feet and beating over 25 other students from the entire Galveston-Houston Archdiocese. Drayden King and Jordan Davis competed in the Elementary Division and each took 1st place in their respective heats. All of our students represented Fatima well and the next meet is April 13th at Barnett Sports Complex. Come out and support our athletes!

J-Lo's Word

In my Lenten reflections this week, the question was posed to readers, "Have you ever condemned someone because of a warped perception or image?" What a powerful question and one that made me pause. Perception, for many of us, is reality. We condemn--either in our thoughts or our actions--before we know the other person's side--their truth, their perception. As we enter Holy Week, I challenge all of us--myself included--to truly pause and reflect. See others as Christ sees them. We are all busy, hurried, tired, working, in need, and seeking approval and love. Are you withholding a kind word, approaching someone, helping someone, or loving someone because of a perception you have that in reality may not even be? See them as Jesus sees them. See them as He saw them....on the Cross. In His light....
