Pershing Nurse News
Please continue to keep your child home if they have any symptoms of illness. If you are not sure in a particular situation, please keep your child home on that day and call the school nurse for guidance on whether you can bring your child to school or not. Call the nurses with any questions: 523-2430
- We are excited to introduce you to Pershing's new school nurse, Ronda Staley. Nurse Ronda has over 25 years nursing experience, and has worked in labor and delivery, pediatric telephone triage and in the OR. She will be serving the Pershing K-8 community in a full time capacity. Nurse Amy will still be supporting our students and staff part time.
Library News!
For December and January, we have a “Snuggle up with a Good Book” review wall. We encourage all of our students (and staff) to pick up a decorative review sheet, write up a review, and bring it back to the library for us to hang on the book review wall. If anyone chooses a book because of your review, you will get a prize!

Why join PTA?
It costs $10.00 to join PTA. You are not obligated to donate your time just because you sign up. This small amount of money quickly adds up to support our small school. Grandparents and other family members are welcome to join and support the PTA! Each dollar goes toward Pershing Elementary.
Our Pershing PTA would love your involvement as much as you wish to help. This is a great way to show your child you support their school.
If you wish to know more just ask a PTA Board Member!
