New Lunchtime Dance Club!

Ms. Theberge and Mrs. Puttick are starting a new lunchtime club! Next week we are launching an opportunity for junior high students to come out and experience worship through dance.

Every Friday from 12-12:25 pm in the drama room, Mrs. Puttick will be leading students in a warm-up and Ms. Theberge will follow up with some simple choreography to Christian music. The heart behind this time is to connect with students, for students to connect with God through worship and movement. This will be a drop-in activity.

Some scripture we have been reflecting on is Psalm 139:14, which speaks to students’ value in how God sees them:

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. – Psalm 139:14

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 speaks to God’s holiness and how he is calling us to steward our bodies:

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? - Corinthians 3:16

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. We are both so excited to see what God will do through this time worshipping together.

The Break Room Update

The Break Room has slowly received some more donations for the space. Thank you very much! I just wanted to mention that if there are items on the sign-up sheet which you have something gently used that could work (does not have to be brand new or specifically the items I attached in the links). Those are more for just helping to create a visual.

Just send me an email to ask if it could work, and I will get back to you!

Make sure to scroll all the way down – it might ask you to click “see more.” It’s a free sign up tool so the advertisements get it the way at times!

As well, please feel free to drop off the item as soon as it’s ready just at the main office and label it Break Room (Ms. Theberge).

If you would like to make a cash donation instead of donating items, please contact Jackie.bateman@eips.ca or call the school at 780-464-7127 in the office to arrange this.

Thank you for your help!
