The Mexican Flag
This is the flag of Mexico! It's green on the left, red on the right, and white with a brown bird eating a snake in the center.
The Map of Mexico
Mexico is a fairly large country. Mexico borders the U.S.A. ,The Pacific Ocean, The Gulf of Mexico and several other small countries.
Customs and Symbols of Mexico
Mexicans usually shake hands or give each other a nod of the head when greeting each other.Using hand gestures, no means shaking the hand from side to side with the index finger extended and palm facing outward. A Yes = A Thumbs Up.
Some symbols of Mexico are The Chichen Itza and The Palenque. (Which are Monuments.)
Dress (Clothing)
Some people wear regular jeans, shorts, and t-shirts, but other people may wear cowboy hats, boots, and jeans.Women usually wear dresses or skirts covered with an apron.
Farmer

Weaver
if you look close enough, it may look like this woman is wearing either a dress or a skirt.
Children
As you see, these children are wearing typical jeans and shorts.
Typical Mexican FOOD
Food that you would find in Mexico are corn, various beans, brown and white rice, different chilies, and most especially, TACOS!!!
Tacos!
These Tacos must look very tasty with the apples, beans, and the various sauces.
Chilies!
This shopkeeper is selling lots and lots of CHILIES.
Rice!
This bowl is filled with rice and what looks like a bit of carrots. This meal looks VERY tasty!
Holidays and Celebrations
Two holidays or celebrations in Mexico are Dia de los Muertos (Day of the dead) where they honor the dead, and Cinco de Mayo, which celebrates a war victory over the French in 1862.
