ALL-STATE CHOIR
Congratulations to Ms. Meg Jones, Choir Director and the Buckhorn Choir All-State members! 11 students (Garrett Carmichael, Grace Collins, Taylor Hughes, Beth Jones, Hayden Langewisch, Austin Mayfield, Tatayana Rice, Tyy Russell, Grace Sisk, Houston Sisk and Elaina Walker) were chosen for All-State this year, which is the most Buckhorn has ever had accepted. Almost all of our students who auditioned were accepted, which is significant because only 1 in 3 students across the state make it. We took more students than Sparkman, Hazel Green, & Madison County combined. Wow!
Shout out to Garrett Carmichael, one of our senior boys, who made a perfect score on his audition which is incredibly rare!!!
We are very proud of Ms. Meg Jones and her super talented students. It is not an easy feat to make these choirs! #BuckPride #OurNewNormal

COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP AT MOUNT PARAN
Special thanks to Coach Jamie Reese and the BHS Historical Society for organizing the clean-up at Mount Paran Cemetery. Thank you for the hard work that everyone poured into this project. We also appreciate Mr. Jimmy Edwards and New Market BBQ for helping out and feeding the volunteers. The place is finally looking good again. But they aren't done yet...Stay tuned for more information about the upcoming "finishing date" for phase one. They will need all hands on deck once more to finish this phase and begin the process of transitioning into phase two.

Sign Up to Round Up!
The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of Madison County Schools. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding we can receive. Estimates show that if just half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools! By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of our students!
You can easily sign up to round up online:
http://www.hsvutil.org/myhsvu…/checkbill/roundup/signup.html
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out.
Thank you for supporting one of our community partners! Go Bucks!
