Four Activity Buses Now Have Wifi
Students would be able to access the wifi with their district-issued devices to complete homework as needed. To request a bus with wifi, please be sure your building secretary puts this in the notes when making the request on InfoFinder. The buses are available on a first come, first served process -- and priority will also be given to sponsors who will be making long distance trips on the bus.

2018 Onsite Health Screenings
Research consistently shows that people who are thriving physically, socially, financially, and in their jobs and communities report feeling happier, healthier, more productive, and more fulfilled. At Belton School District we want you to be your very best and encourage you to take steps toward enhanced wellbeing. In an effort to support and recognize healthy activities, the District will again provide an opportunity to all district employees to participate in a free biometric health screening and Health Risk Appraisal (HRA). Please refer to the well-being incentive chart below for key dates and the attached FAQ document for more information.
It is the employee’s decision to participate; however, in order to continue to receive the full board-paid portion of the health insurance premium, you must complete both the Health Screening and Health Risk Appraisal (HRA) online questionnaire.
Employees on the District health insurance plan who complete BOTH of these steps (Health Screening and HRA) by March 31st 2018 (March 17th 2018 for the Manual Submission Form) will be eligible for a $240 ($20 per month) wellbeing incentive toward their June 2018 through May 2019 health insurance premiums.
Please note: Employees on the District health insurance plan who do not complete both of these steps will pay $20 more per month toward their June 2018 through May 2019 health insurance premiums. Premiums for this period will take effect starting in the June 2018 paycheck. (June paycheck pays July premiums.)
The above information applies only to employees who are covered by the District’s health plan. However, non-members can also take advantage of this free and convenient on-site health screening by scheduling an appointment by phone (details below). Even if you plan to retire or resign, you must still participate in both the health screening and HRA in order to avoid paying the $20 per month for the June/July/August 2018 paychecks.
The Belton School District cares about its employees. Your participation is important. Please contact Abby Stevenson ABanks@cbiz.com or Abby Carter acarter@bsd124.org if you have any questions.
If you think you might be unable to meet the standard for the incentive in this program, you might qualify for an opportunity to earn the same incentive by different means. Contact Abby Carter at acarter@bsd124.org, who will work with you (or your physician, if you wish) to find a wellness program with the same incentive that is right for you in light of your health status.
