Cumberland Trace After-School
A Word from the Supervisor
Happy New Year! So many things have been getting better since the start of the school year, and with 2016 already starting, it is time to kick start some of those things to see just how great Cumberland Trace’s After-School Program can really be! To start, we will focus on positive behavior. From watching how the children responded to little shifts towards that, I cannot wait to see what else we can accomplish. If you or your child has a suggestion that you think would help any aspect of growth for the program, always feel free to inform me; I am always open to seeing how things can become better.
It has finally gotten cooler, but we still will go outside for fresh air when the weather permits, so please continue reminding your children to wear their coats and bring them into after school, even when it gets warm. We often are racing the setting sun for outside time, so even if it not cold during the day, that does not mean it will not be cold while we are outside.
I will keep you as informed as possible through these newsletters and talking with you when you come in to pick up your children. I can be reached on the site phone 3:30-6 p.m. at 270-991-3529. Or you may contact our office 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. If they don’t know the answers, then just leave a brief message for me and a call back number and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
To a great year!
